- Answer Kenny - DS6501 is an accessory handset only, and will not function unless registered to a compatible VTech base system such as DS6511; DS6521; DS6522.

QuestionHands-free?Aside from the speakerphone, is there any way to have a hands-free situation on these phones? There isn't a jack on the handsets to plug in a head set. I also haven't seen anything made by VTech that would allow this. I've seen several different styles of phone that had the option to buy a hands-free phone, that basically is added to the system just like an additional handset. So, to sum it up, how can I get a hands-free phone call using this system?
