“Should this show as Connected" in the Rig settings "Solar Status"? Because its not charging my Spotlight Cam Plus.”

Your solar charger or solar panel will only show as connected in the Ring app while it has stored power. Should the device be out of the sun long enough to completely run out of power, it will show up as “Not Connected” in the Ring app. Once the device is exposed to enough sunlight to charge up, the status will return to “Connected.” Also, once the Solar Charger starts working, the Device Health page for your Ring camera will continue to show that the power source is a battery. The Solar Charger is just a power source. As soon as you plug it into the Ring camera, it starts working, but only provides power when getting direct sunlight.
