A:AnswerHello,
The solar panel needs to be placed under direct sunlight for it to harvest solar energy which will keep your camera charged.
If you have any more questions or come across any other issues, let us know, we will be happy to help.

A:AnswerPlease ensure you have done the following:
1. Unplug and reinsert the solar panel charging cable. Make sure that the connection is snug tight.
2. Make sure that your solar panel is placed in maximum sunlight exposure and is not obstructed by trees, buildings, or other obstacles.
3. Make sure that your camera is not in temperatures below freezing. For safety reasons, your camera battery cannot charge in temperatures below 32°F (0° C).
4. Keep the battery of your camera at 100% prior to connecting it to the solar panel. Note that the Solar Panel is designed to provide trickle charging to keep your camera battery charged, not to charge your camera battery from low to full.
5. Reduce your camera usage for a day or two and note your camera’s battery level. Heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it, especially with poor sun exposure.
Please also note that unlike any other cameras, when using a solar panel, Ring won't show whether it’s charging or not. If there is high traffic, it consumes more power, so you might think it’s not charging at all.

A:AnswerThe Wasserstein Solar Panel Compatible with Ring Spotlight Cam/Plus/Pro Battery & Stick Up Cam/Pro Battery is indeed designed to work with the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus Battery (2025 version) as well as the Ring Spotlight and Stick Up battery cameras.
A:AnswerYes, it should work with the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus (Battery) (your B0DZ1ZQ5G3 model) because that camera runs on a removable/rechargeable battery and uses a solar panel input just like the other supported Ring battery cameras in this list.
A:AnswerYes — the Wasserstein Solar Panel (2-Pack) is compatible with your Ring Spotlight Cam Pro (Battery). It’s designed for Ring battery-powered models and will help maintain the battery through trickle charging, especially when installed in an area with good direct sunlight.
A:AnswerYes, you can view your Ring cameras from your cellphone, but just to clarify a couple of things:
To View Ring Cameras on Your Phone:
Download the Ring app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Sign in with your Ring account (or create one if you don’t have it).
Once your Ring Spotlight Cam Battery or Ring Stick Up Cam Battery is set up and connected to Wi-Fi, you'll be able to view live video, receive motion alerts, and review recordings (if you have a Ring Protect Plan).
About the Wasserstein Solar Panel:
The Wasserstein Solar Panel is compatible with both the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery and Ring Stick Up Cam Battery, and helps keep them charged without you needing to take them down to recharge manually. Once it’s connected properly:
Your camera will continue working just like before.
