“Is the filter cartridge RPWFE appropriate for the GE Model 22KsSS refrigerator? Can I replace the cartridge every 8 months instead of 6, as we are a small household?”

I don't think we have the same GE refrigerator model number. I ordered this filter because it matched the one I removed after the " replace filter " indicator light came on. We draw filtered water frequently but every 8 months changeout may be an option if you don't use very much daily. Just have to put up with the light being on. Your option.
