Hi Steve, We are happy to answer your question about using a compatible Samsung water filter with Samsung refrigerator model RF27CG5010S9/AA. If you have a reverse osmosis water filtration system already installed or in place, you may remove the water filter that comes with the refrigerator model since the water filter may decrease the water pressure. The water pressure supply has to be between 30 to 120 psi. Leo
