Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks for the question. The DA29-00020B is the correct cartridge for the RF28HMEDBSR/AA Refrigerator. The noise may be due to air in the lines which is a normal occurrence after changing the filter. Bleeding the air by dispensing 5-6 gallons of water should resolve this issue. In addition, pressing the test button on the ice maker to reset it should help to prevent the temporary change in water pressure from interfering with ice production. Instructions can be found on page 23 of the user manual. - Ms. Samsung
