Hi, Thanks for your interest in our TSU product. Regarding using your own dedicated faucet You could use your own dedicated faucet with our product, but not normal faucet for tap water. There are a few things you may need to know before purchasing one: a. SOME of our smart faucet is equipped with a filter life indicator, which allows you to monitor the filters' life easily. If you decide not to use our original faucet, this function will not be in effect. You can still check the indicators on the front panel for filter lifetime status. b. Your dedicated faucet should be able to connect with the outlet PE tubing of the unit, diameter 1/4". c. It should have a "Quick-Connect Fitting", as shown below: https://streamable.com/06u4rj OR, it should come with a set of accessory parts, which allows connection with the bare end of a 1/4" PE tubing. If the faucet does not meet any of those requirements, you may need to acquire corresponding adapter(s) to finish the connection (we don't carry those adapters). In order to achieve the best installation outcome, we do NOT recommend using faucets other than the original one.
