This is an add on to previous answer. Since the Inspiron one is an all in one computer you need to open it up and check if the hard drive you have is a PC hard drive or a laptop hard drive. The WD Blue PC is for PC's not laptops.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I installed it in a Dell XPS. You need a SATA connection, you do not say how old your dell is but SATA is the normal hard drive connection for several years. The WD blue is SATA 3 but is backward compatible with SATA 1 & 2. The only different is a slower speed with the older SATA standards. If you don't know what your hard drive donnection is you can download HWINFO, just search for hwinfo and install. It is recognized by norton as a safe program. When you install and run it will give you tons of info about your computer including whether you have a SATA or other hard drive connection. I cannot guarantee results as you have to know how to initialize hard drives, format them or know how to clone them. But you can learn all of that from the internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work in any laptop or desktop that accepts an SATA hard drive (pretty much any computer made after the the year 2000)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you need an MSATA drive. Good news it can be upgraded and you will notice a difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Mahboob, WD Blue SSDs are available in either a 2.5”/7mm cased or an M.2 2280 model to evolve with smaller and thinner computers. With form factors to accommodate most laptops, desktop PCs, and small form PCs, a WD Blue SSD is ready for the job. Need Help? Please see our "'Contact Us" page for information
