Yes, multiple times. They're HGST White Label 3.5" drives. You may need an adapter for the power connector though. /r/datahorder
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The reason you would want to use a drive internally instead of externally is that externally connected drives typically go to sleep when not in use. This happens in as little as 10 seconds, so you have to "wake" the drive repeatedly when in use, making it a nuisance for anything more than just straight storage and backup. Playing a video, especially if you have to pause while watching, becomes onerous. That's why.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Why bother? It's designed as an external, no telling what connectors are internal. It's super fast for an HDD, you just couldn't easily boot your system off it, but once on the desktop, it can easily handle all your needs.
