That all depends on your TV and the file compression codecs of the files you want to display. Generally yes unless you have an older TV that doesn't support it. In which case I would normally copy files to my tablet/phone and stream to the TV with a dongle or hook up with an HDMI cable, again it depends on the TV, most newer smart TVs will support most codecs and you can hook up no problems.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your TV has a USB port and an interface, then this drive would work for your needs. Check the specs for your TV though- some tvs out there have a usb pretty that only allows charging for some reason. If your specs say that it works with a thumb drive then this will work in the same way, just bigger.
