Connect one of these drives to a Mac, being sure that nothing else is heavily using the CPU, and it should register an error message with a prompt to format. If this doesn't happen within a minute, open Finder and look for the drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's formatted for use with Windows, but I am using it with my Mac. You can either reformat it to NTFS, or do like me and purchase the Paragon Software tool called Microsoft NTFS for Mac. It's only $19.95 and it lets you read and write to volumes that are formatted to Windows while using your Mac. Been using it for years. Once the software is installed all you have to do is plug in the drive and your Mac will read and write to it as if it were a Mac volume.
