you'll have to get a quality dongle to transport most small ones are not powerful enough, it needs to be able to move large GB files. We got a belkin power dongle ,it's pretty pricey though

If you can find a cable with a USB-Micro on one side and a USB-C on the other, it should work. The USB-Micro connects to the drive, and the USB-C connects to your MacBook Pro.
