Mine always run in the yellow and red. Very normal. HD Sentinel has a temperature calibration feature you can use to adjust according to manufacturers safety temps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If it's moving a lot of data, then expect the temperature to rise. That large case leaves lots of room around the drive for air to circulate, but there's no heat sinks inside. If you're worried, lthen run a fan on the box. That will likely cool it. Personally, I went to the trouble to void the warantee to open the drive and hook up a 30mm drive that's like used in commercial servers, but that's not simply a mattter of plugging a drive in somewhere. I had to check out the power circuit and do some soldering, and so the fan runs whenever the power supply is plugged in even if the drive is turned off with the switch.
