- Answer Yes, this will be compatible with DVRs that accommodate external storage expansion and have a USB 3.0 interface. It will not work if it only requires an internal hard drive.

- Answer No. The PS1 does not have a USB port. The original PS1 had a port for game mods and GameShark. You can add a 20GB HDD to original PS2 though.

- Answer If you are just backing up data, such as, movie, videos, pictures, etc. You just copy it to the hard drive. If you are backing date up from more than one laptop or PC you might want to make separate folders to hold the information from each computer. I use these all the time.
