A:AnswerYes, I use it with my Mac Book Pro 2017. I partitioned it and use it for back up and storage when away from home. Love using iCloud back up, but I still like having everything right with me also.

A:AnswerThe Mycloud HOME does not work with linux in its entirety. There is one SMB directory you can use for backup, but all the main features and uses are designed for windows and mac os. The nomral Mycloud works fine with linux, using SMB and NFS in the normal ways.
