Best Buy and Amazon sells type c flash drives that should work with any type c device such as a Samsung phone or your iPad Pro. I believe the highest they'll go should be 256gb or 512gb. If you need a terabyte or more, definitely look up external drives that are compatible with iOS. An external SSD is more recommendable because it's faster, just make sure it's compatible with iOS (the system within iphones and ipads)
