I have 2, for regular storage, not a gamer. I was curious about that myself. It's sturdy, has more of a "game" look, doesn't heat up when I work with it for several hours. Hopefully a gaming user has written for their experience if that is your intent.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's all about the data transfer rate. In a regular external HD the speed is only able to store files like photos and documents. But with gaming HD it's able to transfer the files quickly to the PC that you can actively play the game.
