“Can I store games for my Xbox on this AND my videos and screenshots from my Xbox recordings? I read something about needing to format your usb to NTFS to store videos and screenshots on it and didn’t know if that would affect downloading games aswell.”

The hard drive will automatically format itself when you plug it in. It will store whatever you want to put on it. It’s not self powered, so your console will have to work twice as hard to keep it powered. Games will lag and freeze up.
