in the package they provide you with a printed code that you must input in order to activate the program.

Look on the back of the package that your Webroot C.D. came in. In the lower left hand corner you should see a sticker that says "PEEL HERE FOR KEYCODE" . Lift up that sticker and you should see your code.

it is found on the back packaging by the bar code, there is a sticker on the back of the package it will say webroot any where key code. enter all the letters and numbers its about 20 of them

When you log on to the site you will be asked to verify two of your security code. (Like enter the second and fifth characters of your security code). This changes every time so don't save the answer for this one.

It is the security key on the back of the box that contains the CD.

On the back side of the box in the lower left hand corner there is a white on black removable sticker "PEEL HERE FOR KEYCODE" that conceals a black on white printed sequence of five groups of four letters and digits identified as the "Webroot SecureAnywhere Keycode". Entering this when prompted enables the software installation.

You probably have your answer by now. The code is on the box for first time installation by disc. If it is a renewal do online it is cheaper. If you renew by disc delete the old first then load the disc and when it ask for code type in the code on the original box it came in.

Should be on the bottom and back of your product once you open it...can only be activated by the seller by the UPC code on the package, the code will recognize as being activated only when purchased.
