We had the same problem, so my son bought a sound bar at Best Buy. It attaches to the back by cable and boosts the volume and quality immensely. It has its own remote, but once it’s set, you only have to set it again after a power failure. It’s a strip about 22” that is set behind the TV or anywhere you choose to place or hang it. It truly helps.
