“I have read the installation instructions. Do you "have" to vent this microwave outside? The instructions give only two options for venting and they are both to the outside. My current micro-hood had the option of just recirculating into the kitchen.”

• The microwave arrives set up for recirculation installation. You have to make changes to allow it to vent through the wall or roof.

• Yes you can vent into the kitchen rather than outside. It comes set up for no exterior venting.
