“If this convection oven doesn’t have a heating element how can it be a convection oven. Does it bake cakes and other food.”

• This oven has two different heating elements, not counting the microwave feature. There is a resistive heating element in the left wall, and a lightbulb-type heating element in the top. I haven't baked a cake, but it does a great job baking cookies!

• According to my daughter it foes bake cakes and other bake goods. She still perfers baking in a regular oven.
