“The material inside of the door panel holding the glass seems to be elastomer or silicone. Also, there seems to be white plastic stubs to hold the grate in the middle. How will these smell at high temperatures during convection baking or grill?”

We have air fried , grilled, and convection baked and have not noticed any smells.
