What distance should it be over the range null

Suspect the 30" is wrong measuring from the cooking surface to the bottom of the microwave. How many people that much clearance on top of their cook top? Probably correct if measuring from the cook top to the top of the microwave however.

Tee, model number WMH78519LZ should be at least 30 inches from the cooking surface. We hope this helps.

In a kitchen built with 1976 standard cabinets, the bottom of the unit is 19.5" above the cooktop. If you are thinking of putting it really close to the cooktop, what size pots are you thinking of using on the cooktop?
