A freezer like this is designed to keep frozen food frozen. If you put in large amounts of product it will take a long time to freeze it.

It would depend on how cold it was when the food was put in there, how much food you put in there, what temperature you have it set to. Did you let the freezer sit for the amount of time that the manual said to? You may not have it cold enough for the amount of food you put into it.
