• No, it is not the correct ice maker. That ice maker has an 8 terminal electrical connection but this fridge has a 5 terminal. I talked to Whirlpool support and the correct model of ice maker is W11517113 despite what the manual says and what support is saying on this website. I bought that model and now it’s connected and working.

• I just purchased this refrigerator and an ice maker and found out that they are incompatible. The ice maker has a 4-pin plug and the refrigerator has a 5-pin connector. I looked up online for model eckmfez2 and it also has 4-pin. I wonder how this ice maker would work if it cannot be plugged into the refrigerator. Thanks.
