Is the freezer frost-free and does it keep the contents frozen? I see that other fridges are specifically described as frost-free, including the freezer-only models. Just can't imagine why this feature would be left off of any freezer.

There were a few comments stating the ice cream & other contents were not freezing! Wouldn't that be corrected for those with this issue?

it is frost free and never had problem with ice cream melting.

Everything in the freezer stayes frozen even without the snow burns that some freezers obtain. Highly Recommended

This unit has an auto/cycle defrost and the top freezer offers a freezer temperature control that can be adjusted to keep the contents frozen.

I have not had a single problem with the freezer keeping my foods frozen and yes it is frost free.
