Ours is 33-in wide space and the door on the wall side is still hitting the wall when you try to open the door wide. I guess you will run into issues.

Youu need to be able to open the doors past 90 degrees in order to pull out the bins and get groceries in and out. You should have at least a 10" space - a little base cabinet or kitchen island that does not protrude past the body of the fridge.
