A:AnswerHi Unsure, this unit doesn't have a sound rating, however, with today's more efficient compressor technology, these units tend to run less and more quietly. We hope this helps.
A:AnswerHi Noises, the ice maker can make cracking and popping noises especially when dropping ice. For the door we recommend checking that it was properly installed. You can find the instructions on how to do this on page 4 of the Installation Guide, linked here: https://bit.ly/3zmfdRb If you continue to have issues after checking, please reach out to us directly via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/whirlpoolusa or Twitter @WhirlpoolCare or give us a call at (866) 698-2538 Mon–Tue: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. EST, Wed–Fri: 9 a.m.–7 p.m. EST for further assistance. We hope this helps!
A:AnswerI don't actually have an answer for your question that isn't just there is an on off button but I just wanted to thank you for asking the question in the first place because I am so confused. I have never had an ice maker that doesn't appear to have an arm but there is not one and I was thinking maybe they forgot to attach it or something when they delivered it but apparently it has some other shut off feature for when the ice is full I don't know. Now I just hope it produces ice.
A:AnswerThere are 4 styles of ice makers for this fridge. Since you do not see a wire arm, this is style 4. You can read about the different styles in the user's manual. To answer your question though, there is a small toggle switch on the bottom of the ice maker to turn on and off. It is only accessible when the ice bin is removed.
A:AnswerHi! If this is a newly installed Refrigerator, please allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice. Discard the first three batches of ice produced. Wait 72 hours for full ice production. If however, the unit isn't newly installed and seems to have very slow ice production, please reach out to us directly via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/whirlpoolusa or Twitter @WhirlpoolCare so we can provide further assistance.
A:AnswerHi Willie, the middle shelf in this unit is 15.8" deep and 9.3" wide. As you can see in the image with the doors open, the freezer section has several frozen pizzas in it comfortably. Here is the link so you can have a look. https://bit.ly/2TjKapl Hope this helps!
A:AnswerHi MarjiD, the Freezer capacity is 6.77 cu ft. There is no specific information on the volume consumed by the Ice Maker in this unit. We would refer you to the images of the full unit to represent the storage capabilities of the freezer. Here is the link: https://bit.ly/2TjKapl
A:AnswerHi DMZ, it will not come with the water line. There are different types available. You can purchase a refrigerator waterline kit with a 1/4" (6.35 mm) saddle-type shutoff valve, a union, and copper or PEX tubing from the retailer.
