QuestionOn my whirlpool ice maker I have a black power button on the bottom with a white dot is the dot supposed to be down for power to the ice maker it will go threw the test mode and fill up with water but will not drop ice is the switch in the right place,

- Answer The manual tries to tell you this, but it's not that intuitive. the rocker switch needs to be pressed on the "right" side which has the line, not the dot or circle. At least that was what ours needed.
