Yes it will! We have a 36" opening and it fits just fine! This fridge is the same size as the one we replaced, so we knew it would fit. The clearance is needed on top--a few inches for air circulation.

I actually called an appliance store, and they said Yes, it will fit!

It will NOT fit in a 36" space.....needs a little breathing room!
