• Hi Josie, the upper rack is adjustable. You can manually raise or lower the upper rack two inches to better fit tall items. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!

• The top rack does move up and down to allow for taller items to be washed but nothing "folds" over I would say.
