• It either goes on the door (two knobs for the back of the silverware basket) OR on the lower rack in the space between the rack & closed door. It sits on two pins. I've always liked mine on the door yet the new feature does make it handy to load. Some of my silverware is not getting clean (mostly knives) so I'm calling Whirlpool today.

• The silverware holder can either hang on the door or in front of the lower pull out rack. Both locations have a place to attach it.
