A:Answer Apparently stores thinks all customers want stainless steel appliances. I hate them! None of the stores here offer appliances of any kind in white. We had a power surge that fried the wiring in our dishwasher, Cuisinart coffee maker, and microwave oven. I prefer white appliances and had to special order all of them. With the pandemic halting virtually all manufacturing, inventory is either low or non-existent, even for appliances made in the US because they rely on foreign made components. I was without a functioning dishwasher for a little over two weeks, but the wait time I was seeing for mostly every other brand and model was 60-90 days! I had mine for a little over a week, and love it! It is only a slight upgrade from my old Whirlpool which lasted 16 years. The new one is quieter and has the stainless interior which looks cleaner than the interior of the old one.
