you need hot water only heats to dry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model does have a hot water boost, but I always put my water on hot. I'm not sure if it would get cold water hot enough to do a good job.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Khm! This unit would require hot water to operate the unit. Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The owners manual states that hot water is required to operate the unit. Hot water shall be a minimum temperature of 160 degrees. The unit does have auxiliary heaters that will superheat the water on heavier cycles, but they do not operate long enough to heat cold water to the appropriate operating temperature. Cold water operation is not recommended by the manufacturer. You must have hot water connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The unit requires connection to the sink and in the manual it states that hot water must be used and not cold water. The hot water shall be a minimum of 160 degrees. Yes the unit has auxiliary heaters that on the heavier cycles will heat the water further... but they will not function long enough to heat cold water to the appropriate operating temperature. So you must have a hot water connection. Hope this helps.
