When this fridge stopped working after only 7 weeks of operation we were curious about that too. Major parts like the compressor and wiring harness were made in China and the switch was made in Mexico. We suspect that all of the major parts came from China and it was assembled in Mexico. Another hint is that the technician who attempted (but failed) to repair it said that it would take 4-6 weeks to get parts, but with the current problems in China we think it could take as long as 2 full months to get parts. In the meantime, we have no fridge.
