A:AnswerWe had trouble keeping it at zero at first so we put a thermometer in there to track it. As long as we keep the refrigerator & freezer pretty full it will stay around zero. Otherwise, you will see it vary. Overall we love it.

A:AnswerWhy?! Because this brand and especially this model is *garbage*. The condenser on it broke within 17 days. 17 DAYS! I wouldn’t buy Whirlpool, or would I use Best Buy… we went away on the 15th day and returned on the 17th day to $200 of food rot. And they tell us we have to keep this crap & have the shady Whirlpool fix it? What— so we can worry every single time we go away for a few days? Miserable product & experience.
A:AnswerWhen this fridge stopped working after only 7 weeks of operation we were curious about that too. Major parts like the compressor and wiring harness were made in China and the switch was made in Mexico. We suspect that all of the major parts came from China and it was assembled in Mexico. Another hint is that the technician who attempted (but failed) to repair it said that it would take 4-6 weeks to get parts, but with the current problems in China we think it could take as long as 2 full months to get parts. In the meantime, we have no fridge.
