Yes I  have a granite counter top so the diswasher was secured on both side to my wooden cabinets.

This dishwasher has brackets on the top side that use screws to secure in place into the wood sub surface under the counter top. If you do not have a wood sub surface under your counter top, you may be able to attach the brackets to the bottom side of the counter surface with some epoxy applied to the top sides of the brackets. But that may make removing the dishwasher for repairs/ replacement later on difficult.
