can the utensils only be added in the tub or can the utensil rack be hung on the door. all my whirlpool dishwashers I was able to place the utensil rack on the door which gave much more room in the washer for dishes and pots null

Utensil rack does not hang on the door, however it has a 3rd rack, at the top, for utensils as well as the long standard rack at the bottom which can be removed allowing for added space.

Hello James. The Utensil basket can only be placed on the bottom rack.
