• It has a sensor that will shut it off and signal an error. Knowing what the code is and how to clear it is not hard but may drive you a little nuts when figuring it out (as it did me).

• Hi Liesel, this model Dishwasher does indeed have "Leak Detection" If a leak is detected, a light will flash on the front of the dishwasher to alert you, and the dishwasher will proceed to drain water from the tub. We hope this helps!
