What is the meaning of the FULL / EMPTY in the Rinse Indicator? Is there a light that's supposed to go on when it's empty? And if that's the case, shouldn't the light have been ON when the dishwasher was installed? I haven't seen one. null

It is not light per say. The indicator goes dark when full, and is lighter when empty. Hope it helps

Hi LUISA, the Rinse Aid Indicator is like a window and you should be able to see the level of the Rinse Aid. When it about 2/3 of the way down in the circle, it's time to refill the Dispenser. It's on page 1 of the Quick Reference Guide that came with the unit if you would like to review the literature. We hope this helps.
