A:AnswerIf you’re talking the inside light, it should come on when you open the doors or drawers. If it’s not there’s an issue with the bulb or something. The light for the water has a button and comes on when you either push the button or dispense water or ice. Hope this helps.

Best Buy (and other vendors) allow you to refuse the delivery, in which case they would take it back with them, refund you the money, and you can go and get a different fridge.
Other option (if it's tight but feasible), is to use a sander to shave of the missing mm to make it fit.
This specific fridge is a 1/8'' narrower than most fridges in the 36'' category.

The ice maker has an automatic shutoff. When the ice maker is
on, sensors will automatically stop ice production when the
storage bin is full. The ice maker will remain set to ON, and ice
production will resume when the bin is no longer full.
To manually turn off the ice maker:
Press OPTIONS to display the OPTIONS screen. Pressing ICE
MAKER, if the ice maker is currently on, will turn off the ice maker.
The “Ice Maker Off” icon will flash three times and then stay lit.
When the ice maker is set to OFF, it will stop producing ice.
Pressing ICE MAKER, if the ice maker is currently off, turns on the
ice maker. The “Ice Maker Off” icon will disappear
