No. Has plenty of room for a family of 4. At least for us. My wife likes the refrigerator so that means I love it. I suggest you look at one up close and evaluate.

I am the condiment queen and there is plenty of room. I organize them by size since only one bin can fit taller bottles.

Lots of space to be able to put leftovers in various containers in the main section of the refrigerator. The ice container on the door I like as this does not take up space for larger items as the leftovers.

BUT--What is a problem though the shelves on the doors, the height is the problem, sauce bottles like dressings, Worcestershire bottles that are tall when you close door hits the outside of the main frame causing the bottles to tip over. You cannot adjust the shelf as there are only a couple of ways to select the positioning of the shelves.

No need to worry - the door shelves are deep and there is plenty of space elsewhere. 

I was worried about loosing door space because of the indoor ice maker, but I will say that the room you gain back in the frig is more than was lost in that space. There is plenty of door space on the right side as I find that the door shelves are deeper than my side by side so I am not sure if I am even losing door space after all.

Yes, there is less door space, but there is so much space inside that we had no trouble finding space for items we normally kept in the door.

I LOVE MY REFRIGRATOR SO FAR. THE ICE MAKER IS GREAT IN THE DOOR. EASY ACCESS TO WHEN YOU NEED TO EMPTY AND REFRESH YOUR ICE, WHICH I DO OFTEN SINCE I DON'T USE SO MUCH.

I like it a lot with the ice maker in the left door. The shelves in the right door are HUGH and hold a lot, plus extra space inside the fridge.

We are a family of 4 and spacing isn't an issue. I do find that we don't use the middle drawer at all as I tend to forget it's there. I love my new fridge.
