QuestionIs there a light in the freezer?

- Answer Yes, there is a single bright LED that is plenty bright to illuminate the freezer. Interestingly there are 9 bright LEDs in the refrigerator section that come on slowly as if on a dimmer, no trouble seeing in there. There are two bright LED lights in the refrigerator drawer.

Questiondoes this keep produce well?It says it automatically adjusts humidity for fruits and veggies in the bins, but these items require different levels of humidity. There are no manual controls. I just saw a study that said this model does not control humidity as well as most french door models.

- Answer Anne, good question and I hope I am able to help. There is a dial on the drawer that helps to release excess moisture from the bins. However, as you stated, different fruits and vegetables have different moisture levels, and each person will need to determine the best place to store they produce. I hope this helps some. QuestionGetting ready to have this model delivered, anybody aware if the problems this model has had in its early release have been solved? Or am I in trouble? And where is the best value for replacement water filters or any other filters needed with this model?

- Answer Freezer door cracked within first 4 months, was replaced by manufacturer. Ice maker motor went out and was replaced at 8-9 months of having it. It was replaced as well by the manufacturer.

QuestionHow well does the Measure Fill work?

- Answer The measured fill I tested with a measuring cup, if your home water pressure is set correctly it should work pretty good. I don't believe it is exactly measuring it within the refrigerator otherwise the water pressure would not matter. However, it seems to work pretty good, my wife loves that feature. If it's off a bit, I don't think it would be enough to throw off a recipe or over fill a glass.

QuestionIs there a reset/restart mechanism for the ice maker?

- Answer Yes. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall for at least 30 seconds, then plug back in. This is the easiest way to reset the ice maker and get it to start producing ice again.

QuestionSecond problem is that water fills under middle drawer then freezes and spills into freezer. Repairman said was clog in (condenser?) but could not open back of interior to unplug clog. Help!!

QuestionI replaced the water filter with a generic brand Filter 2. It has worked fine, but now it is stuck in machine and I can't get it out to replace it. Have had 2 repair men out with no luck. We did try relieving pressure turning water off etc.

- Answer It has a "measured fill" setting where you can set it down and have it dispense a pre-selected amount, but not a true autofill.

- Answer I believe it's not just temperature, but humidity control as well. I'll have to stick a thermometer in there and run each setting for a day, now that you have my curiosity.
