“1) I have a new stainless-steel refrigerator and was delivered and set up. The door handles are not flush...the freezer handle sticks out further than frig. Is that normal, or how is it fixed? 2) The red light comes on when frig door is opened.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You probably need to take the handle off and reposition it. It may just need to be adjusted. I believe the red light comes on when you open the doors. I think it is an alert in case the door is not closed all the way
