“My ceiling is only 7 feet tall (due to soffit) and basically leaves me 24 inches for the height of the hood. This hood is 28 inches high. Is there any way to shorten the stack? Is the motor at the top, or can the chimney tin be trimmed?”

• The motor is not at the top. The stack is two pieces. One could be shortened and the cut end would be hidden. I installed with only 21”.
