Hi, I'm dealing with Whirlpool over sharp, dangerous edges on a refrigerator. There is a Whirlpool Safety department at 866-550-5136. If they are smart, they will help you by replavcing the unit. They are offering me a trade-in amount that I am not accepting. The danger to a customer is a potential liability for Whirlpool. If someone gets injured, you could get sued, and in turn, you would sue Whirlpool, assuming that this was a manufacturing defect and not something caused after purchase.

Yes the edges of the Whirlpool oven door handles are very sharp. I caught and torn a number of clothing items on them. My oven was in the home I purchased from the previous owner about 3 years ago. I put black electrical tape over the edges, but it looks ugly. Tape finally came loose and I’m wondering what else I might do to alleviate the hazard, short of buying another oven.
