Hello BumblebeeWard. Hello BumblebeeWard. It is 18" minimum clearance from upper cabinet to countertop within minimum horizontal clearances to cooktop. 30" minimum clearance between top of cooktop platform and bottom of uncovered wood or metal cabinet.
