QuestionIs this refrigerator fingerprint resistant stainless steel? If says so in the description, but not the name. Also, the same exact model number at other stores looks slightly different. Can their be subtle differences within the same model number?

- Answer The model I have is not finger print resistant. It might be in the black stainless, but not in the traditional stainless.

QuestionI just got this refrigerator installed today, but for the life of me cannot figure out how to turn on the ice maker! There is no on/off switch nor is there a metal arm or anything that I can move inside the ice compartment that would appear to turn it on

QuestionFor the life of me, neither my husband nor I can find the switch to turn off the ice maker. We read the instructions, but if it’s under the ice maker, we can’t see it. Would it just be easier to turn off the water supply if we go on vacation?

Questioni have the a whirlpool 24.6 side by side refrig. the order filter light came on. my refrigerator is connected to a filter at the sink to filter the water. how to keep the light from coming on since i should not have to use the filter. thank you; Betty

- Answer I am not sure if you can disable the filter light, but you can reset it by pressing and holding it for about three seconds. Then of course you will need to do it again in about 4 to 6 months.

QuestionThe red #H2O light went on but this fridge was bought May 2019 and it is only October 2019. Is there a malfunction for the filter to need changing so soon? Also the water is not cold despite fridge and freezer being cold

- Answer I hit the reset button and get another few months out of it. I live alone and need only to change the filter annually.. If you've got a passel of kids, likely 3 months would be normal.. As to the water temp, if it gets cold after the first glass, you're good. If it never gets cold= bad

QuestionIs there supposed to be a removable tray for the water/ice dispenser? Mine does not have one. There is always an extra drip after dispensing water and it misses the indentation because the dispenser is too far out. It makes a water line down the door.

- Answer THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE ANSWER BECAUSE IT IS NOT CORRECT!! This extra couple of drips after dispensing water is ridiculous! The water spicket is at the edge of the door and has water running down the outside of the door. This is unacceptable!! All others are set back so tray will catch any excess spillage. What can you do to make this right. We are continuously cleaning floor and front of door.
