Yes! It displays that the stovetop or oven is "in use" and after you turn stovetop off, it also displays that the stovetop is "hot". Nice feature. The display is in a bright red color in the form of a sentence, i.e., "stovetop is hot". Hope this helps.

Hi -, Unfortunately, this Whirlpool - 4.8 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Electric Range with Keep Warm Setting does not have a range element indicator light.
